Asociado de Programas - Coordinador/a Resiliencia

Under the direct supervision of the Head of Programs, the Associate of Programs - Resilience supports the planning, implementation, and monitoring of resilience projects, ensuring alignment with WFP policies and standards. The role involves managing operational execution, coordinating with partners, providing technical support, and contributing to capacity building and emergency preparedness activities.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, development, implementation, and monitoring of program unit processes and activities, ensuring alignment with WFP policies, strategies, and procedures.
• Manage and monitor operational execution of resilience projects, ensuring compliance with objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate formalization, implementation, and monitoring of agreements with cooperating partners and executors, including reviewing technical and budget proposals, preparing contractual documentation, and monitoring results.
• Provide technical support in livelihoods, climate adaptation, productive strengthening, market access, and cash transfer programs.
• Maintain close coordination with various units within the Country Office to ensure integrated and efficient execution of activities.
• Prepare reports, technical analyses, and information products related to project performance, resource utilization, activity progress, and results.
• Manage and ensure proper collection, consolidation, and validation of operational and programmatic information, ensuring quality and consistency of reported data.
• Conduct periodic field visits to monitor implementation, identify risks and opportunities for improvement, and formulate recommendations to strengthen project results.
• Support coordination and articulation with government institutions, cooperation agencies, UN system agencies, civil society organizations, and other relevant actors to strengthen implementation and sustainability of interventions.
• Contribute to capacity development of partners, government counterparts, and participating communities in technical areas related to resilience and food security.
• Participate in analysis, design, and continuous improvement of tools, methodologies, and implementation mechanisms to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support generation of inputs for program proposals, donor reports, resource mobilization exercises, and institutional visibility products.
• Contribute to emergency preparedness and response activities when required, promoting integration of resilience and early recovery approaches.
• Serve as focal point for operational consultations related to activities under responsibility and provide technical guidance to support staff when appropriate.
• Perform any other tasks required by supervision to support achievement of Program Unit objectives.

Requirements
