Trainee Área de Projetos (Exclusiva para Pessoas com deficiência)

The Trainee will support the project team in reviewing projects and monitoring construction to ensure projects meet high quality standards. The role involves applying best practices in technical design and construction management under supervision, observing Health, Safety, Social and Environmental standards and Protection against Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, preparation, coordination and review of urban planning, architectural and complementary projects under close supervision of the Project Manager and technical team.
• Support the preparation and review of terms of reference, descriptive reports, specifications, bidding documents and technical manuals for engineering and architecture.
• Support all stages of the bidding process for contracting projects and/or works.
• Support identification and recommendation of technical, architectural and engineering solutions through reports and technical studies.
• Support identification and recommendation of solutions to ensure quality of projects, operations, installations and environmental conditions through reports and technical studies.
• Support organization and methods of administrative routines for projects and works such as schedules, meetings, project coordination and follow-up of internal processes.
• Accompany engineering inspections of operations, structures and system installations during project and construction development.
• Support recommendation of changes in partner policies and procedures through review of engineering program activities.
• Support research in architecture, urbanism and engineering and provide technical assistance to partnerships.

Requirements

• Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or another engineering field; or have graduated up to 3 years ago in Architecture, Civil Engineering or another engineering field.
• Desirable candidates are those pursuing from the 8th semester onwards in the mentioned fields.
• Desired experience in architecture, engineering, engineering projects.
• Experience in humanitarian or development contexts is desirable.
• Portuguese native proficiency is required.
• Basic proficiency in Spanish is required.
• Basic proficiency in English is desirable.
