The National Data Entry and Monitoring & Evaluation Administrator supports the TIGARA project by maintaining and updating project databases, ensuring data quality, and assisting in monitoring and evaluation activities. The role involves data collection, consolidation, quality control, indicator tracking, and reporting to support project implementation and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and regularly update TIGARA project databases, activity trackers and monitoring files, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
  • Collect and consolidate project data from project staff, experts and service providers implementing activities, including data on activities, beneficiaries, SMEs, institutions, trainings and technical assistance.
  • Perform routine data-quality checks for completeness, consistency and accuracy, and follow up with project staff, experts and service providers to obtain or clarify missing or inconsistent information.
  • Support the tracking of TIGARA Logical Framework indicators by maintaining updated data on indicator achievements, including sex-disaggregated and, where applicable, sector-disaggregated data.
  • Collect, organize and maintain the supporting documentation and means of verification related to project activities and indicators, including attendance lists, reports, surveys, assessments, deliverables and other relevant evidence.
  • Maintain activity and beneficiary records and follow up with project staff and experts to ensure that required monitoring data and supporting evidence are provided in a timely manner.
  • Provide the project staff with verified and consolidated M&E data, indicator figures and supporting evidence in the formats required for project monitoring and reporting, including data extracts, monitoring tables, pivot tables, charts and dashboards, as needed.
  • Undertake any other tasks related to project data management, monitoring, reporting and evaluation support, as requested by the Project Manager.
  • Develop a final report at end of the contract with all performed activities

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree in statistics, economics, business administration, development studies, information management, social sciences, computer science or another relevant field is required. Alternatively, a first-level university degree may be accepted provided it is combined with substantive professional experience directly relevant to the expertise required for the assignment.
  • At least three (3) years of relevant professional experience in data entry, data management, monitoring and evaluation, project reporting, research support or related functions.
  • Experience in maintaining structured databases, spreadsheets, indicator trackers and electronic filing systems, with demonstrated attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required, including formulas, sorting/filtering, data cleaning, pivot tables and preparation of basic charts.
  • Knowledge of other data collection, database or visualization tools is an asset.
  • Experience supporting Results-Based Management (RBM), logical frameworks, indicators, baselines, targets, means of verification and/or donor-funded project reporting is an asset.
  • Experience in collecting and processing beneficiary and activity data, including sex-disaggregated data, surveys or training/event records, is desirable.
  • Experience with UN agencies, international organizations, government institutions or EU-funded projects is an asset.
  • Ability to organize large volumes of information, identify inconsistencies, meet deadlines and work effectively with a multidisciplinary project team.
  • Good computer skills and sound knowledge of standard office software and electronic document management.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic is required.
