Senior Household Survey Consultant for Support to MICS in Morocco and Saudi Arabia

The Household Survey Consultant will support MICS surveys in the Middle East and North Africa, including results validation workshops and review of survey findings reports for Morocco and survey planning for Saudi Arabia. The role involves technical review, workshop support, report finalization, and remote survey planning support.

Responsibilities

• Review of the Morocco MICS preliminary results tables (2 days).
• Support MICS results validation workshop “Data Interpretation and Report Compilation” for Morocco MICS (5 days).
• Review of the Morocco MICS Survey Findings Report and Statistics Snapshots (4 days).
• Provide remote support to the survey planning for the Saudi Arabia MICS (5 days).

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Demography, Statistics, Epidemiology, or other related technical fields with significant measurement, analysis or quantitative research background is required.
• At least 15 years’ experience in support or management of quantitative household surveys.
• Experience in survey report writing.
• Documented experience with the MICS programme.
• Experience in working in support of national statistical office.
• Experience working in the MENA region.
• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic.
• Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously within a multicultural environment and communicate complex ideas (desirable).
• Proactive and dynamic personality with attention to detail (desirable).
• Result driven and strong planning and organizing skills (desirable).
• Fluency in written and spoken French (desirable).
