National State Consultant – Education Data

The National State Consultant – Education Data will support evidence-based decision-making in school education through data analysis, report writing, and documentation. The role involves working with EMIS data, policy and practice, and requires strong analytical and communication skills in Hindi and English.

Responsibilities

• Support evidence-based decision-making in school education through data analysis and report writing.
• Work with EMIS data and other education data systems to monitor and improve education outcomes.
• Analyze data to identify bottlenecks and provide recommendations for system improvements.
• Create and manage databases to address contextual needs.
• Organize, manage and participate within teams to support education data initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduate degree (minimum Bachelors) in Social Sciences/ Humanities/ B. Tech
• At least 5 years’ experience of data analysis, report writing and documentation
• Previous experience of working with EMIS data/ data analysis, policy and practice
• Expertise in using MS-Office application software (MS Word, Excel, Power Point) essential, especially Excel.
• Previous experience of working with the government administrative
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Hindi and English required
• Ability to analyze data, identify bottlenecks to improve systems and provide recommendations
• Good analytical, writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to create a database to address contextual needs
• Ability to organize, manage and participate within teams.
• Previous experience working with a database on out-of-school children desirable
• Knowledge and experience in using SPSS is desirable.
