See your match score & applyThe internship provides temporary operational support to the Administration and Finance section for year-end inventory, records management and archive-related activities, offering practical exposure to UNICEF administrative processes, internal controls and document management standards.
Responsibilities
- Support inventory, classification, indexing, filing, digitization and preparation of documentation for the approved archive disposal process.
- Assist with preparation of count sheets, location lists, verification documents, reconciliation trackers and PSB-related supporting files.
- Perform data entry, compile supporting documents, prepare simple trackers and support logistical arrangements for inventory and archive activities.
- Assist with the compilation, filing and tracking of finance-related supporting documents, including payment files, reconciliation documents, expenditure records and other documents required for review and follow-up by responsible finance staff.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in a degree programme, graduate school, or be a recent university graduate (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or higher) in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Public Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Fluency in English or French is required excellent.
- Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts is desirable.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have no immediate family members (father, mother, brother or sister) working in any UNICEF office.
- Have an excellent academic record, demonstrated through recent academic or institutional documents.
- Previous professional experience is considered a strong asset.
- Have knowledge of spreadsheets (advanced Excel functions, etc.).
- Have never previously completed an internship with the UNICEF Cameroon office.
- Meet UNICEF’s child safeguarding standards.
