'EWENE - Every Woman, Every Newborn, everywhere' Consultant

Consultancy to develop a strategic framework for maternal and neonatal health in Mozambique, including literature review, stakeholder engagement, field visits, workshop facilitation, and final documentation and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature review of Mozambican EPMM and ENAP/PACRN and global programmatic options for EPMM and ENAP.
• Engage with Technical Groups for Maternal Health, Child Health and Family Planning under National Public Health Directorate and other relevant groups.
• Conduct field visits to primary health units and hospitals in one province to assess quality of health services.
• Facilitate two workshops and incorporate contributions into the document.
• Develop final strategic framework proposal for Mozambican EWENE, validated by TWG, in Portuguese and English including budget.
• Create final presentation in PowerPoint format in Portuguese and English.

Requirements

• Advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in Health or Public Health.
• 5 years of experience working on RMNCAH in Mozambique.
• Proved capacity to develop strategic Documentation.
• Knowledge of Mozambican Health System.
• Language Requirements: Portuguese and English.
• Desirable: Capacity to develop Costing plans.
