You will also support administrative tasks and engage in self-learning during non-driving periods, demonstrating professionalism, discretion, integrity, adaptability, and respect for protocols.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and reliable driving services.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and preparation.
- Use digital tools and tracking systems.
- Ensure documentation and reporting of trips.
- Maintain effective communication and be ready to respond in emergencies.
- Provide office operational support during periods of inactivity.
Requirements
- Secondary education in logistics, transport, automotive technology, public safety, or related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in transport, security, vehicle maintenance, fleet management, driving, or experience within the United Nations, an embassy, or related field.
- Excellent command of French (fluent or bilingual) is required.
- Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish) or a local language is an advantage.
- Relevant national experience, especially in development, fragile contexts, and humanitarian action, is an asset.
- Demonstrated safety and security skills.
