As a Driver, you will provide reliable and safe driving services while ensuring compliance with local traffic rules and UNICEF protocols. You will also support administrative tasks and engage in self-learning during non-driving periods, demonstrating professionalism, discretion, integrity, adaptability, and respect for protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and reliable driving services.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance and preparation.
  • Use digital tools and tracking systems.
  • Ensure documentation and reporting of trips.
  • Maintain effective communication and be ready to respond in emergencies.
  • Provide office operational support during periods of inactivity.

Requirements

  • Secondary education in logistics, transport, automotive technology, public safety, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in transport, security, vehicle maintenance, fleet management, driving, or experience within the United Nations, an embassy, or related field.
  • Excellent command of French (fluent or bilingual) is required.
  • Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish) or a local language is an advantage.
  • Relevant national experience, especially in development, fragile contexts, and humanitarian action, is an asset.
  • Demonstrated safety and security skills.
