The Digital Impact Officer supports UNICEF's mission by enabling ICT solutions and services to enhance programme and operational effectiveness. The role involves managing ICT infrastructure, providing support and capacity building, and assisting in operational and administrative tasks to deliver results in the country office.

Responsibilities

  • Enable continuous operation of ICT infrastructure and accessibility to ICT solutions and services.
  • Provide help, support and assist with capacity building and knowledge management.
  • Support operational and administrative tasks.
  • Assist in the delivery of results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (first-level university degree) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computing/Information Tech, Information Technology, Information security, Business Administration, Telecommunications, or another related field is required.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Information Communication Technology, Information Technology, ICT infrastructure management, Network administration, Information security, Telecommunications, Disaster recovery, Business continuity, Capacity building, ICT Project management, Vendor management, or another related field is required.
  • Skills in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Business Intelligence (BI), ERP Systems, Knowledge of Android Operating System, Business Analytics, ICT Audit and Risk Management.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
  • Experience in a UN organization or other international organization, as well as leadership skills, contract management experience, and SAP knowledge, are considered assets.
  • Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
