See your match score & applyThe consultant will conduct a demand analysis for GBV services among men and boys and map SGBV service providers in targeted districts in Mozambique. The consultancy aims to generate evidence to strengthen inclusive, accessible, and coordinated SGBV services under the Tolerancia Zero programme.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a demand analysis for GBV services among men and boys including literature review, key informant interviews, and analysis of demand patterns, service gaps, and barriers.
- Map and develop a directory of civil society organisations providing SGBV-related services in targeted districts.
- Develop localized, user-friendly directories of SGBV service providers for use by partners and community actors.
- Provide practical recommendations to strengthen referral pathways, coordination mechanisms, and integration between prevention and response services.
- Prepare deliverables including an inception report, draft demand analysis and mapping reports, and final consolidated reports incorporating feedback.
- Participate in a validation workshop and present findings.
- Conduct fieldwork and stakeholder consultations in multiple districts and provinces within Mozambique.
Requirements
- Master's Degree with 5 years of experience OR Bachelor's Degree with 7 years of experience.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional experience.
- Proven track record in GBV research, service mapping, or programme evaluations.
- Demonstrated experience in GBV programming, service mapping, and/or demand analysis.
- Strong understanding of survivor-centred and ethical research approaches.
- Experience working in Mozambique.
- Capacity to conduct fieldwork in multiple districts.
- The consultant must have his/her own computer, mobile phone, and IT equipment.
