Auxiliar de Gestión de Iniciativas de Confianza - Área Infraestructura_NPSA3

The position supports the design and management of trust initiatives in prioritized territories within the Infrastructure area, ensuring proper formulation, effective implementation, and participatory monitoring. The role involves close coordination with technical teams, communities, and regional government to strengthen institutional capacities and promote intercultural territorial development for the Mapuche people.

Responsibilities

• Assist and collaborate in the design of trust initiatives with support from UNDP technical team and coordination with communities, ancestral authorities and Regional Government.
• Support formulation of projects with intercultural, territorial, collective and gender focus guided by UNDP technical team.
• Collaborate in coordination with UNDP, Regional Government and territorial managers for implementation of initiatives.
• Support monitoring of initiative progress, document results and provide feedback to planning process.
• Participate in technical meetings, workshops and coordination spaces of the project.
• Prepare progress and closure reports for each initiative.
• Participate in training on internal procedures for project staff and support organization of capacity building activities as needed.
• Perform other functions within professional profile necessary for proper functioning of the project, office and organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in design/formulation and management of public projects at subnational level (municipalities or regional governments) territorial.
• Experience in training and knowledge transfer.
• Experience in intercultural development projects.
• Experience using remote work tools such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom, cloud storage and collaborative work tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience with Outlook email and its functionalities.
• Experience with software for infrastructure design.
• Additional years of experience beyond minimum are desirable.
• Bachelor's or professional degree in Architecture, Engineering, Civil Construction or equivalent.
• Specialization in project design, public policies and/or public works, community infrastructure planning.
• Experience designing projects funded by public funds.
• Experience managing and monitoring project portfolios.
• Experience with strategies, plans, policies, budgetary processes and regional public programs.
• Experience in project development and execution, budgeting, dialogue, and participation facilitation.
• Experience managing groups including private sector, public sector and civil society.
• Experience in community participation and engagement with indigenous peoples, particularly the Mapuche people.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Fluency in Spanish is required.
• Basic knowledge and handling of the Mapudungún language is desirable.
• Applicants must provide certificates or similar documents accrediting their experience with the mentioned tools.
