See your match score & applyThe Asociado Técnico – Sembrando Vida supports the implementation of social and environmental projects under the Mexican government's international cooperation policy. The role involves administrative and planning activities related to project implementation in El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Belice, and Cuba, including data systematization and statistical analysis.
Responsibilities
- Advise the Project Coordinator to ensure effective processes for project implementation in the field.
- Plan processes for project implementation in Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Belice, and Cuba in collaboration with counterpart institutions.
- Monitor progress of agreements with strategic actors involved in project implementation.
- Support preparation of reports on project implementation progress and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support creation, exchange, and strengthening of knowledge and capacity development relevant to the project.
- Participate in training and organize informational sessions on internal procedures for project staff.
- Support capacity strengthening activities including design and delivery of tools, workshop materials, or platforms leveraging collective intelligence.
- Support dissemination and exchange of relevant data and lessons learned within country office and regionally.
- Stay informed on emerging best practices nationally, regionally, and internationally related to project work.
- Contribute to knowledge networks and communities of practice.
- Support collection and systematization of project knowledge, products, and tools and their distribution to partners.
- Participate in strengthening technical components of the project implemented in operational zones.
- Review and systematize statistical information on project results and environmental component indicators.
- Prepare reports on project effects on environment and beneficiary populations.
- Contribute to proposals for improvement of technical components linked to environmental elements.
- Perform other related functions as necessary to achieve project objectives.
Requirements
- Certificado de preparatoria (bachillerato) is required.
- University studies at first level (bachelor's degree) in International Relations, Law, Sociology, Economics, Social Sciences, Pedagogy, Environmental Engineering or related fields will be duly considered but are not mandatory.
- Minimum 6 years of experience with preparatoria or 3 years with bachelor's degree in environmental projects.
- Experience in process management.
- Experience in designing courses and training for organizational skills strengthening.
- Experience in delivering courses and training for organizational skills strengthening.
- Certifications related to the design and delivery of organizational training are desirable.
- Experience in coordinating multiple actors and multi-site initiatives is desirable.
- Experience in preparing reports on process implementation and incidents is desirable.
- Applicant must be a Mexican citizen in full exercise of their rights or a foreigner with a migratory status allowing the function to be performed.
