See your match score & applyThe National Consultant will provide programmatic, coordination and logistical support for the implementation of the Academy for Women in Public Leadership in Moldova. The role involves supporting planning, organizing events, managing participants, and contributing to monitoring and reporting activities to strengthen women's leadership in public life.
Responsibilities
- Support overall planning and coordination of the Academy and contribute to the development and update of the workplan and calendar of activities.
- Coordinate schedules with national and international experts and monitor progress against the workplan, flagging risks and delays.
- Organize Academy activities and events, providing organizational support for trainings, leadership labs, mentoring and coaching sessions, peer learning circles, networking and alumni events.
- Provide logistical support including coordination of interpretation and translation needs, preparation, printing and distribution of training materials and visibility items.
- Support participant outreach and management, including calls for applications, participant selection, maintaining databases and attendance records, and acting as focal point for participant queries.
- Support monitoring, evaluation and reporting by administering questionnaires, collecting and organizing M&E data, evaluation forms, and documentation records.
- Provide general programmatic support including drafting concept notes, terms of reference, meeting minutes and correspondence related to the Academy.
- Support coordination meetings with experts, partners and institutional focal points and perform other relevant tasks as required.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Political Science, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Management, Gender Studies, or related fields is required.
- A first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced degree.
- Certification or training in project/programme management or event management is an asset.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in providing programmatic, administrative, coordination and/or logistical support to programmes, projects or capacity-building initiatives is required.
- Proven experience in organizing trainings, conferences, workshops or similar events, including logistics, participant management and documentation, is required.
- Experience in programmes related to gender equality, women’s leadership, or women’s political participation is an advantage.
- Experience working with international organizations, including the UN, is an advantage.
- Computer literacy and professional knowledge of office software packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and experience in handling web-based management systems is required.
- Fluency in Romanian and English is required.
- Working knowledge of Russian is an asset.
