See your match score & applyUN Women seeks a consultant to develop a report on international models for gender-responsive procurement implementation in public procurement. The report aims to provide practical guidance for procurement officials in Viet Nam to operationalize gender-responsive procurement in line with new legal mandates and international best practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop the report framework including objectives, targeted users, contents, and format.
- Consult the draft report framework with stakeholders including the Public Procurement Agency and UN Women.
- Prepare Draft 1 of the report in English and Vietnamese based on desk review of current reports and documents.
- Conduct targeted technical consultations with selected stakeholders to collect feedback on Draft 1.
- Compile stakeholder responses and prepare Draft 2 of the report incorporating feedback.
- Provide operational recommendations for Viet Nam adapting international practices.
- Finalize the report including practical tools, templates, checklists, and case examples.
- Support dissemination and capacity building efforts related to the report.
Requirements
- Experience in gender-responsive procurement or related fields is required.
- Experience working with public procurement systems and policies is desirable.
- Ability to conduct desk reviews and technical consultations with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and report writing skills in English and Vietnamese.
- Experience working with international organizations or UN agencies is an asset.
