The role involves portfolio coordination, resource mobilization, monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder engagement with government, UN entities, and development partners.

  • Run day-to-day portfolio coordination with Government counterparts: support portfolio working groups, track the commitments of Government, partners and the UN, and maintain the overall resource-gap picture.
  • Manage allocation rounds and calls for proposals, and ensure Fund-supported joint programmes sit within portfolio results frameworks and strengthen coherence across Results Groups.
  • Monitor portfolio implementation across partners against agreed indicators, flag bottlenecks and risks, and recommend corrective action.
  • Ensure gender equality, human rights, youth, climate resilience, disability inclusion, conflict sensitivity and Leave No One Behind are integrated into portfolios and programmes, and track trends that affect them.

  • Act as secondary liaison between the RCO, the MPTF Office, PUNOs and development partners, and manage Fund agreements, disbursements and compliance with the Administrative Agent's procedures.
  • Oversee allocation and financial performance, and coordinate results-based monitoring, evaluation and risk management.
  • Consolidate PUNO and partner reporting into high-quality reports for the Board, Government, donors and the MPTF Office at portfolio and Fund level.
  • Produce lessons learned, case studies and good practice from portfolios and Fund-supported programmes, and promote innovation in integrated programming, financing and partnerships.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
