Information Integrity Individual Contractor

The Information Integrity Individual Contractor supports the coordination of information integrity partnerships, logistical support for events, research and assessment of information risks, and administrative duties within the Information Integrity Team of the Department of Global Communications. The role contributes to strengthening information integrity through coalition-building, strategic communications, and development of related products.

Responsibilities

• Provide general support to the coordination of information integrity related partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide logistical and other support to information integrity events and activities, including for the UN Working Group on Information Integrity, the Global Network for Information Integrity, and for capacity building and training activities.
• Provide general support to the team’s research and assessment of risks to information integrity across online and offline information spaces, including on data collection, analysis and reporting of findings for reports and presentations.
• Support activities related to the development and presentation of information integrity products, such as issue briefs, speeches and online content.
• Monitor and keep track of team tasks and projects.
• Maintain shared electronic files and databases and mailing lists.
• Other administrative duties as required.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years work experience is required for this position.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Knowledge of another official language of the United Nations (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is desirable.
