Facilitador/a de Protección y Bienestar ECHO Tapachula

Implement activities of child protection, psychosocial wellbeing, education, and community integration for children, adolescents, youth, and caregivers in contexts of human mobility. Facilitate participatory methodologies in child-friendly spaces, group psychosocial support activities, educational activities, and community actions to promote safe, protective, and inclusive environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement psychosocial support and child protection activities to strengthen emotional wellbeing, resilience and protective factors of children, adolescents and youth.
• Facilitate educational support and school inclusion actions to contribute to access, retention and reintegration of children and adolescents in contexts of human mobility.
• Develop activities in safe and friendly spaces that promote meaningful participation, integral development and exercise of rights of children and adolescents.
• Strengthen capacities of parents and caregivers through training processes that promote protective parenting practices, family wellbeing and child protection.
• Promote coexistence, inclusion and social cohesion among migrant populations and host communities through community participation and strengthening protection networks.
• Record, document and report timely implementation of activities contributing to monitoring, learning and continuous improvement of the project.
• Ensure availability and proper use of logistical and material resources necessary for implementation of all activities under responsibility.
• Comply with administrative, financial and procurement policies and procedures applicable to the project.
• Promote safe environments for programmatic activities through application of security protocols, risk identification and mitigation measures.
• Promote effective integration of Safeguarding, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEAH) and Gender Equality and Inclusion policies in all activities under responsibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education, pedagogy, psychology, social work, sociology, community development or related disciplines.
• Minimum three years of experience in child protection, education, psychosocial support, community development or humanitarian action.
• Experience facilitating groups of children, adolescents and adults.
• Experience in contexts of human mobility, education in emergencies or child protection is desirable.
• Experience coordinating with schools, communities and institutional actors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using Teams and SharePoint.
• Use of digital tools for data collection.
• Basic management of databases and programmatic evidence.
• Skills in participatory facilitation.
