Coordinador/a de Proyecto ECHO HIP

Lead the technical, programmatic, financial, and operational coordination of the project ensuring achievement of objectives, results, budget, schedule, quality standards, and commitments with donors, partners, and participants. Responsible for project implementation throughout the project management cycle, ensuring compliance with Plan International procedures, donor contractual conditions, and principles of gender equality, inclusion, child protection, safeguarding, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise the comprehensive execution of the project to ensure achievement of objectives, results, schedule, budget and quality standards.
• Lead the technical implementation of the project ensuring programmatic quality, application of institutional methodologies and effective articulation among involved actors.
• Adapt methodologies, tools, materials and implementation strategies to the characteristics, needs, risks and specific contexts of participating populations and intervention territories.
• Supervise financial and administrative execution of the project to ensure efficient use of resources and compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
• Strengthen and manage relationships with donors, institutions, partner organizations and strategic actors to facilitate project results.
• Ensure systematic monitoring of project performance through monitoring, evaluation, learning and accountability processes based on evidence.
• Lead, accompany and strengthen the project team promoting a culture of performance, collaboration, wellbeing and continuous improvement.
• Ensure availability of resources, materials and operational conditions necessary for project activities implementation.
• Promote safe environments for programmatic activities through application of security protocols, risk identification and mitigation measures.
• Promote effective integration of Safeguarding, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEAH) and Gender Equality and Inclusion policies in all activities under responsibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in social sciences, project management, development or related disciplines.
• Minimum five years of experience in project management or coordination.
• Experience in budget administration and donor compliance.
• Experience in inter-institutional coordination with government agencies related to child protection.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in humanitarian projects, child protection, gender, education or community development in Mexico.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and collaborative platforms such as Teams and SharePoint.
• Experience with project management information systems and tools.
• Ability to record, systematize and analyze sensitive information in digital platforms ensuring data security and confidentiality.
• Familiarity with data protection protocols and cybersecurity in humanitarian contexts.
