Senior IPS Engineer

The Senior IPS Engineer will support NATO's Digital Endeavour by managing C4ISR systems' full lifecycle, including procurement, supportability engineering, logistics management, hardware reliability assessment, and technical documentation. The role is based in The Hague and involves working within the Office of the Chief of Acquisition to support strategic goals and missions.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement activities, including bids evaluations, contractor reviews, and in-service contract management
• Drive supportability engineering and apply Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) methodology
• Handle logistics management, including forecasting, records, and project integration
• Assess and report hardware reliability, identifying failure causes and improvements
• Manage technical writing, ensuring documentation standards and tools are applied

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (supportability or logistics engineering preferred) and at least 3 years of relevant experience, or at least 10 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post if the educational requirement is not met
• Training in IPS methodology and proficiency in the use of supportability engineering related standards and tools
• Excellent communication and networking skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changes, proactive attitude
• Knowledge of safety engineering is an advantage
• Knowledge of NATO's C4ISR capabilities is an advantage
• Experience working in an international organization that comprises both military and civilian elements is an advantage
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
