The Legal Operations Administrator provides technical, analytical, and administrative support to the Office of the General Counsel (OGC) at ADB. The role involves supporting OGC management, coordinating meetings and events, managing documentation and databases, and assisting in legal and operational processes related to ADB's projects and investments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to one or two OGC Management team members including scheduling meetings and coordinating events.
  • Prepare documentation on ADB policies, legal opinions, and correspondences of a confidential and sensitive nature.
  • Manage activities of OGC teams including supervision of legal operations assistants and administration of projects and assignments.
  • Track flow of documents and maintain centralized documentation and file management.
  • Assist in recruitment and position vacancy processes including budget requests and Strategic Business Outlook preparation.
  • Contribute to knowledge management initiatives and generate statistical reports on lawyer assignments.
  • Develop and coordinate training and orientation initiatives for staff and external clients.
  • Prepare and review documentation for ADB investment transactions and treasury services.
  • Provide support in engaging external counsels including preparation of requests for proposals and evaluation of bids.
  • Assist in drafting and facilitating documents for loans, guarantees, and technical assistance projects.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for LPR activities including workshops and seminars.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with good working knowledge of ADB's project-related and TA operation and administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Strong analytical ability with attention to detail.
  • Capacity to manage confidential information and multiple priorities under tight timelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a constructive team member.
