The Senior Analyst, Middle East, provides intelligence assessments on cyber-related topics related to the Middle East, particularly Iran, supporting NATO HQ decision makers. The role involves research, analysis, coordination with stakeholders, and delivering strategic intelligence to inform NATO leadership.
Responsibilities
- Monitor fast moving threat situations in the Middle East and present issues of strategic concern to NATO senior leadership.
- Conduct research and analysis of Allied intelligence reporting to gather relevant threat information and provide intelligence and situational awareness to NATO strategic leaders.
- Communicate complex and shifting threat issues to NATO senior leadership and manage demands for analysis and understanding from leaders under pressure.
- Provide relevant and timely intelligence to support NATO leadership awareness, understanding and decision-making.
- Manage stakeholder relations with Allied intelligence services and NATO Intelligence Enterprise interlocutors.
- Contribute to NATO representation by developing and communicating information supportive of NATO's interests.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Possess a university degree in political science, international relations, security studies, statistics, data science, computer science or a related subject.
- Have 5 years in-depth experience in cyber operations or analysis, intelligence collection or analysis, and/or data analytics.
- Demonstrable expertise related to issues in the Middle East region.
- Possess excellent communication skills and strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to explain complex situations clearly and concisely.
- Possess minimum NATO official language levels: V (Advanced) in one of English or French; I (Beginner) in the other.
- Intelligence experience across a variety of geographic areas, particularly the Middle East, is an advantage.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced international environment and manage senior leader expectations under pressure is an advantage.
- Acquainted with the structure, organisation and functions of NATO and NATO HQ is an advantage.
