This consultancy aims to strengthen the territorial implementation of UNICEF policies and strategies focused on preventing all forms of exploitation, sexual abuse, violence, and rights violations against children, adolescents, and their families. The role promotes an institutional and community culture based on the principle of zero tolerance.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen the implementation of UNICEF policies and strategies at the community level to prevent exploitation, sexual abuse, violence, and rights violations against children and adolescents.
• Promote a culture of zero tolerance within institutions and communities.
• Coordinate with local organizations and community networks to support child protection efforts.
• Implement pedagogical and playful methodologies with children, adolescents and families.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Health Sciences, Social Communication or related social sciences disciplines.
• Additional studies related to the subject will be considered a plus.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in technical consultancies or projects related to child protection, working with adolescents, prevention of sexual abuse and exploitation, coordination with local organizations and community networks.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience implementing playful methodologies with a pedagogical approach and conducting processes with children, adolescents and families.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Leadership skills.
• Knowledge of children's rights and gender.
• Skills to work with groups of adolescents and youth.
• Fluent Spanish.
• Desirable: Experience working with faith-based organizations.
• Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
