See your match score & applyThe consultant will contribute to the development of draft minimum and extended standards concerning services for foreign nationals, specifically preparing the section related to career counselling and employment services. The role involves analytical review, development of recommendations, and preparation of standards to support labour market integration of foreign nationals in Poland.
Responsibilities
- Prepare an analytical review of existing standards, tools, and methodologies related to career counselling and employment services for foreign nationals, including practices by PES and other relevant institutions in Poland and abroad, identifying gaps and adaptable tools.
- Develop recommendations concerning career counselling and employment services for foreign nationals within PES, including proposed approaches, tools, and methods supporting labour market integration.
- Prepare the section of the standard concerning career counselling and employment services for foreign nationals, incorporating feedback from IOM and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure timely delivery of all consultancy outputs.
- Maintain quality and relevance of analytical reviews and recommendations.
- Ensure practical applicability of proposed solutions and tools.
- Incorporate feedback from IOM and stakeholders within agreed timelines.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social sciences, career counselling, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in labour market integration activities, including a minimum of 3 years of experience as a career counsellor.
- Proven experience in career counselling with a specialization in working with foreign clients.
- Experience in cooperation with relevant ministries, labour market institutions, PES, employers, universities, and non-governmental organizations.
- Knowledge of regulations governing the functioning of Public Employment Services (PES) and the scope of services provided by PES.
- Experience working within PES structures will be considered an asset.
- Strong analytical and written communication skills.
- Proven experience in preparing analytical reports.
- Experience in producing publications will be considered an asset.
- Fluency in Polish written and spoken.
- English will be an advantage.
