Project Management Support - Analyst

The Project Management Support - Analyst will provide technical assistance to strengthen the management of the Coordinated Action Plan (PAR) and support the completion of unfinished school construction projects for indigenous and Quilombola communities in Brazil. The role involves working remotely, attending meetings during office hours, and availability for travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to improve the management of the Coordinated Action Plan (PAR).
• Support the strengthening of technical assistance provided to federal entities.
• Assist in the completion of unfinished school construction projects for indigenous and Quilombola communities.
• Participate in risk assessment and strategic negotiation processes for new agreements with federal entities.
• Contribute to the internalization of methodologies and tools necessary for planning, monitoring, execution and ex-post evaluation of projects.
• Attend meetings during office hours and be available for travel as required.

Requirements

• The successful candidate must be able to work from home with a suitable workspace, their own laptop, software and an internet connection.
• The successful candidate must be available to attend meetings during office hours.
• Availability for travel is required; UNOPS will cover costs in accordance with current procedures and rules.
• Experience in project management support, preferably in infrastructure or educational projects.
• Ability to provide technical assistance to federal entities and support negotiation and risk assessment processes.
• Knowledge of the Coordinated Action Plan (PAR) and educational infrastructure projects is desirable.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to participate in competency-based interviews and technical assessments.
