The Quality Officer is responsible for the global QHSE-management process for non-medical goods, supporting QHSE best practices, handling customer complaints, and ensuring quality control procedures with suppliers. The role involves collaboration with purchasers, validation of inspection reports, and conducting quality assessments of suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Supports QHSE team to record and follow up on monitoring customer complaints.
  • Supports and encourages continuous improvement of the QHSE best practices.
  • Supports QHSE team on handling the Document Management System.
  • Supports to prepare monthly dashboard including QC, QSE Assessment, loading and offloading reports.
  • Supports QHSE team to implement best practices in transport and warehouse processes.
  • Supports to create Acceptance Quality Limit (AQL) document and ensures validation process is correctly performed.
  • Ensures detailed specification is used in RFQ, RFT and Contracts to enable proper inspection of purchased products.
  • Works closely with purchasers on corrective goods specifications and validates required Certificate of Analysis.
  • Supports implementation of quality-control process ensuring latest QC documents are used.
  • Ensures Quality Control and Inspection Company’s work is performed according to ICRC standards.
  • Supports QHSE Team to validate inspection reports prepared internally and externally.
  • Communicates testing results to Purchaser, Warehouse Manager, and QHSE team respecting internal rules.
  • Investigates discrepancies in quality or quantity of items received from suppliers.
  • Suggests corrective actions in case of non-conformity such as quality penalty or lot rejection.
  • Performs measuring, examining, testing or gauging of items upon request.
  • Ensures JD Edwards quality-management module is properly used.
  • Conducts Quality Social and Environmental assessment of suppliers in cooperation with regional QHSE team.
  • Supports communication of Corrective Action Plan to suppliers through subject matter experts.

Requirements

  • Technical degree in quality management or a related field.
  • Minimum three years' experience in metrology, quality inspections.
  • Proven experience in assessments/quality audits.
  • HSE knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • French language is a plus.
  • Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel) and fluent internet user.
  • Able to write clear and concise documents and assess quality aspects of supplier/manufacturer capacity.
  • Precise with keen eye for details, rigorous with high sense of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Team spirit and good communication skills with a customer focus orientation.
  • Analytical and organizational skills.
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure with minimum supervision.
  • Independent with sense of responsibility and initiative.
  • Able to travel for short support missions.
