The IAEA is building a roster of qualified candidates for short-term G3 and G4 level roles in administrative and business operations. These roles support team performance by ensuring smooth execution of key functions and alignment across operations in a high-performance international environment.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the preparation and drafting of briefings, reports, and other documents, developing data visualizations and drafting presentations.
- Editing, proofreading, and reviewing official correspondence and technical content in line with established rules and regulations.
- Support the operational logistics for events, missions, and high-level meetings, coordinating travel, accommodation, and documentation with precision.
- Providing overall support to core project and program functions, including financial monitoring, budgeting, database management, and reporting.
- Ensuring effective communication, to track status and workflow processes, document control, and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- Be currently a legal resident in Austria and have a valid work permit.
- Completed secondary education.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience in business, administrative, or operational support.
- Excellent oral and written command of English.
- Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.
- Experience in an international or multicultural environment is a strong asset.
- Administrative skills test to IAEA standard may be part of the selection process.
