Development and Grants Intern - UNPAID

This internship is located within the Resource Development Department and supports grant and community donation efforts to enhance IRC's ability to meet client needs. The intern will conduct research, support grant management, assist with proposal development, and participate in community engagement and fundraising activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to identify potential grant and community donation opportunities.
• Support the Grants Management Specialist in ensuring accurate and up-to-date data across relevant databases.
• Compile and analyze program data for grant writing and research purposes.
• Collaborate with the Grants Management Specialist to coordinate with the finance and management teams in the development of grant applications.
• Support the Grants Management Specialist in the development of grant proposals.
• Develop and submit donation applications to secure resources for IRC programs.
• Assist with various Resource Development tasks, including community engagement, external communications, event planning, and fundraising efforts.
• Represent the organization at community events, networking functions, and recruitment activities alongside the Resource Development team.
• Participate actively in staff meetings and contribute to special staff development programs.
