See your match score & applyThe consultant will support UNICEF Burundi in assessing the integration of gender equality across programmes under the Country Programme Document 2024-2027. The review aims to identify gender gaps and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to strengthen gender-responsive programming across sectors.
Responsibilities
- Assess the extent to which gender equality is integrated across programmes under the Country Programme Document (CPD) 2024-2027.
- Identify key gender gaps and opportunities in the CPD sectors: Health and nutrition; WASH; Education and skills; Child protection; Social policy; and Programme effectiveness.
- Provide actionable recommendations and priority actions to strengthen gender-responsive programming across sectors.
Requirements
- Master`s Degree in at least one of the following fields: Gender studies, social sciences, international development, public policy or related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in gender equality, programme review, or related field.
- Expertise and knowledge in conducting Gender Program Review related to Country Program Documents for UNICEF or any other UN Agency.
- Skills in research, data analysis, strong narrative skills and knowledge in multisectoral action planning.
- Language Requirements: French and English.
- Experience working with UN or international organizations is an asset.
