See your match score & applyThe PSEAH Officer supports and facilitates the technical oversight and day-to-day management of IOM’s prevention of and response to sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA) activities in Indonesia. The role involves coordination, prevention, response, and UN PSEAH coordination to ensure effective implementation of PSEA strategies and activities.
Responsibilities
- Develop, ensure implementation, contribute to monitoring and evaluation of the annual PSEAH Work Plan aligned with IOM and UN strategic frameworks.
- Facilitate integration and mainstreaming of PSEAH within IOM Indonesia Country Strategy and programmatic areas.
- Support IOM Indonesia as Co-Chair and key member of the PSEAH Network Indonesia, contributing to workplan, strategy, and SOPs.
- Engage and provide technical support in collection, analysis and use of data related to PSEAH efforts.
- Document and share PSEAH results and good practices through reporting and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Mobilise IOM Indonesia personnel participation in the annual UN system-wide PSEAH Survey and support strategy updates.
- Provide technical support or undertake assessments to identify SEAH risks and define mitigation measures.
- Develop and coordinate delivery of PSEAH training for staff, partners, and stakeholders.
- Compile and report data on PSEAH training participation and support registration and certification.
- Update and support implementation of communication and awareness-raising PSEAH materials.
- Share key PSEAH messages and support integration through other programme modalities.
- Map community engagement projects to strengthen safe reporting channels.
- Serve as PSEAH Focal Point within IOM Indonesia and liaise with regional and global PSEAH units.
- Work closely with programmes to update victim assistance pathways and coordinate referrals.
- Respond to SEAH disclosures and coordinate victim assistance referrals.
- Monitor safety and risks for SEAH victims and adjust response accordingly.
- Support strengthening GBV/child protection prevention and response as requested.
- Undertake duty travel as required.
- Support development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Annual PSEAH Action Plan as UN PSEAH Coordinator.
- Work closely with UN agencies’ PSEA focal points and support compliance with Minimum Operating Standards on PSEA.
- Coordinate Technical Working Groups and author key documents for PSEAH Network.
- Coordinate and facilitate major PSEAH events and activities.
- Mobilise participation in annual PSEA system-wide survey and learning sessions.
- Advocate and promote cross-sectoral engagement including with emergency clusters, government agencies, and faith-based organisations.
- Represent the UN in engagement on PSEAH with key stakeholders including government.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in law, International Relations, Psychology, Social Sciences, Development Studies and Planning or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience; or, University degree in the above fields with four years of relevant professional experience.
- Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.
- Knowledge and understanding of IOM’s institutional approach on PSEA and related strategies, policies, rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of the UN system and architecture.
- Knowledge of mainstreaming best practices and partnership models to ensure coordination of the same across a diversified range of actors.
- Ability to work with and maintain strict confidentiality, when necessary.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (oral and written).
