This consultancy supports the implementation of community interventions aimed at the protection and (re)integration of girls and women in human mobility contexts in El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala. The role involves facilitating participatory spaces, supporting women and local organizations, and coordinating with community and institutional actors to promote sustainable reintegration and empowerment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain constant communication with project coordination and team to promote discussion, articulation, and synergy for activity implementation.
  • Maintain inter-institutional coordination at local level with key actors and contribute to project visibility.
  • Facilitate integration of mental health and psychosocial support components into project actions.
  • Coordinate consultation, validation, and follow-up processes with key actors.
  • Support collection, validation, systematization, and timely transfer of information to project team.
  • Document processes through forms, minutes, photographic records, and other verification sources.
  • Propose contextualized actions to strengthen project implementation and work plan.
  • Prepare and present monthly consolidated activity reports including progress, challenges, and follow-up actions.
  • Prepare minutes of meetings and coordination activities with key actors.
  • Monitor information registration related to planned activities.
  • Prepare materials for workshops, sessions, and other scheduled activities.
  • Coordinate participant invitation, confirmation, and follow-up for workshops and activities.
  • Support logistical and operational organization of events and activities in prioritized municipalities and communities.
  • Support dissemination, promotion, and implementation of project strategies.
  • Provide accompaniment and support to women and girls in mental health and psychosocial support activities.
  • Support empowerment actions for women and girls.
  • Facilitate community-based psychosocial and mental health activities.
  • Support development of workshops, group spaces, informational sessions, and capacity-building actions.
  • Accompany economic, social, and community empowerment activities for women and girls.
  • Support participant follow-up and orientation in project activities.
  • Support community and inter-institutional articulation, promotion, and mobilization related to project actions.
  • Identify and communicate needs, challenges, opportunities, and contextual dynamics relevant to activity implementation.

Requirements

  • Consultancy position up to 11 months with initial 6 months contract duration.
  • Experience working with community-based interventions focused on women and girls in contexts of human mobility and migration.
  • Ability to facilitate participatory and intercultural methodologies to strengthen community mechanisms and promote social cohesion.
  • Experience in coordination with local actors, municipal governments, and community authorities.
  • Capacity to support psychosocial and mental health components within community projects.
  • Skills in documentation, reporting, and information systematization.
  • Proven ability to organize and support workshops, group sessions, and community events.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to maintain coordination with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of gender equality approaches and protection mechanisms for vulnerable populations.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is implied given the location and context, with language skills evaluated during selection.
