See your match score & applyThe Programme Coordination Associate supports the Sawasya III Joint Programme by providing administrative, logistical, and programme coordination assistance to ensure effective delivery of justice, security, and protection services in Palestine. The role involves supporting programme implementation, managing data and reports, facilitating knowledge sharing, and liaising with partners and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective support to the project team to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of administrative and logistical aspects of the work, including maintaining filing and archiving systems, supporting data entry and review of monitoring & evaluation systems, compiling and distributing reports, liaising with counterparts, and making logistical arrangements for travel and events.
- Support formulation of programme strategies and implementation of the Country Programme Documents (CPDs), providing background information and guidance for future programming.
- Provide effective support to management of the Sawasya Programme, including guidance to implementing partners, managing digital technology solutions, monitoring programme performance indicators, preparing reports, and supporting audits.
- Facilitate knowledge building and knowledge sharing in the Country Office by organizing training, compiling lessons learned, and contributing to knowledge networks and digital platforms.
- Perform other duties within the functional profile as necessary for efficient functioning of the Office and Organization.
Requirements
- High School Diploma OR A university degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Political Sciences, Social Sciences, or related field is required
- At least 6 years with High School Diploma or 3 Years with Bachelor’s degree of progressively responsible relevant administrative or Programme experience is required at the national or international level.
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc) and advance knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling of web-based management systems.
- Ability to review and edit documents, ability to produce meeting reports identifying key actions.
- Experience working with the UN and/or other international organizations is an asset.
- Experience working with local organizations and understanding of the local context.
- Knowledge and understanding of monitoring and evaluation tools.
- Experience working in education-related projects, or social development relevant fields.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic languages (both written and spoken) is required
