Join the Human Resources People eXperience and Engagement team to support a diverse community of students, graduates, and staff by delivering tailored HR support, services, and policies. The role involves administration, communication, and advising on HR processes while developing interpersonal skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient, friendly, and reliable administration and communication for various HR processes and queries, supporting HR professionals and their client departments.
  • Inform and advise student and graduate populations throughout their experience at CERN on several topics including regulations, integration, and processes.
  • Deliver engaging presentations on HR topics to a variety of audiences, both within and beyond the group.
  • Master the swift administration of contractual actions for several populations.

Requirements

  • You are a national of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State, excluding Pakistani and Lithuanian nationals for 2026 start date.
  • By the application deadline, you have a maximum of 2 years of professional experience since graduation in a technical or administrative field.
  • Your highest educational qualification is a general secondary education diploma or a shorter non-university degree; you cannot hold a bachelor's degree, master's degree or PhD.
  • You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
  • Experience dealing with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Interest or experience with delivering presentations.
  • Interest or experience with customer service roles.
  • Your studies focused on Human Resources, Administration, or related fields.
  • Effective written and oral communication, adapting the style to different audiences.
  • Maintaining discretion and accountability.
  • Delivering high-quality work on time and fulfilling expectations.
  • Proactive attitude on taking on activities and tasks without prompting.
  • MS Office knowledge.
  • Presentation crafting and delivering skills.
  • Spoken and written English, with a commitment to learn French.
