WFP Fellow

The WFP Fellow position supports strengthening capacity of stakeholders to adopt resilient food systems aligned with food security frameworks and value chain approaches. The role involves conducting economic and policy analysis, supporting programme design and evaluation, promoting climate-resilient farming practices, and facilitating integration of nutrition and disaster risk reduction into food systems programming.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen capacity of stakeholders to adopt resilient food systems aligned with food security frameworks and value chain approaches.
• Conduct economic and policy analysis to improve smallholder productivity, sustainability, and resilience.
• Support programme design, implementation, and evaluation through cost-benefit and impact assessments.
• Promote climate-resilient and sustainable farming practices for smallholder producers and aggregators including special attention to women farmers and engaging of persons with disability.
• Facilitate integration of nutrition and disaster risk reduction into food systems programming.
