The role involves political and social analysis, coordination of cooperation programs, and logistical support for high-level meetings to promote strategic partnerships and development priorities aligned with Mexico's national development plan.
Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis of the political, social, and security context of recipient and partner countries before implementing technical, scientific, or financial cooperation programs.
- Develop medium and long-term scenarios on global development trends to identify new opportunities for Mexico to consolidate regional leadership.
- Attend meetings with various Mexican and foreign institutions in the region regarding the integration and execution of international cooperation programs, projects, and actions.
- Prepare strategic reports and political analysis documents to support decision-making for ongoing projects.
- Coordinate logistical, operational, and protocol arrangements for high-level meetings, forums, and visits of foreign delegations within the framework of cooperation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Law, Communication, Political Science, or related fields is required.
- A Master's degree in the aforementioned fields is not required but will be given due consideration.
- For candidates with a Bachelor's degree, 4 years of experience providing advisory services within Public Administration is required.
- For candidates with a Master's degree, 2 years of experience in the related fields is required.
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Negotiation and public relations skills.
- General knowledge of political analysis.
- Experience in preparing strategic reports for decision-making is desirable.
- Organizational skills for high-level meetings are desirable.
- Ability to identify trends and future scenarios in the political environment of cooperation projects is desirable.
- Applicant must be a Mexican citizen in full exercise of their rights or a foreigner with a migratory status allowing the function to be performed.
