See your match score & applyThe HIV/AIDS Officer provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for HIV programmes within the Country Programme, supporting development planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of results.

Requirements
- Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Epidemiology, Public Health, Environmental Science/Health, public health, epidemiology, global health, health policy, health management, biostatistics, health education, pediatrics, environmental health, social medicine and any other related fields.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Health, Pediatric health, family health, health research, global health, international health, health policy, health management, environmental health, biostatistics, socio-medical, health education, epidemiology and any other related fields.
- HIV/AIDS planning and management in health care, emergency preparedness at the international level and/or in a developing country is required.
- English - Proficient/Fluent.
- Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is desirable.
- Experience in HIV programme, AIDS programme, UN experience is desirable.
- Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts is desirable.
