The Training Support Consultant (eLearning) will perform quality assurance of localized eLearning modules and provide operational support to CTD eLearning Centres. The role involves reviewing Urdu-localized modules, coordinating training sessions, monitoring effectiveness, and supporting programme reporting under the PTP2 Programme.
Responsibilities
- Review all ten Urdu-localized eLearning modules and assess them against the quality assurance feedback provided by the UNODC linguistic expert during the development phase, identifying and documenting any corrections or gaps that have not yet been incorporated.
- Assess the localized modules against substantive inputs received from law enforcement and subject matter experts during pilot workshops and provide consolidated written feedback with recommended revisions to the UNODC Global eLearning production team.
- Conduct a final quality assurance review of each module following incorporation of all feedback and revisions and provide formal written confirmation and clearance for deployment of each module on the UNODC Global eLearning platform.
- Liaise closely and on an ongoing basis with the Global eLearning course production team to ensure timely communication, coordination, and resolution of all issues related to localization, revision, and quality assurance.
- Coordinate with eLearning Site Managers at all four Provincial CTD eLearning Centres to facilitate regular and structured delivery of eLearning training sessions for law enforcement personnel.
- Monitor the conduct and effectiveness of training sessions to ensure consistent utilization of eLearning Centres and promptly identify and address any operational or technical challenges in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide technical and operational guidance to Site Managers to strengthen the delivery and management of eLearning activities in line with programme objectives.
- Collect, compile, and analyse monthly training data, including session schedules, participant attendance, modules completed, and performance indicators, for programme monitoring and reporting purposes under the PTP2 Programme.
- Contribute to documentation of programme results and achievements by supporting the preparation of training summaries and inputs for donor reporting, in line with Government of Canada visibility and reporting requirements.
Requirements
- An advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in social sciences, development studies, public policy, business administration, project management, economics, political studies, security studies or other related fields is required.
- A first-level university degree in similar fields in combination with two (2) additional years of qualifying work experience, may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in e-Learning, digital learning, or training support, including demonstrated experience in the localization, translation, or quality assurance of online training courses or instructional content is required.
- Documented experience in carrying out quality assurance of training materials developed in the Urdu language, including the ability to assess linguistic accuracy, contextual relevance, and technical terminology in Urdu-medium instructional content is desirable.
- Prior experience working with or supporting law enforcement agencies, security sector institutions, or comparable government entities in the delivery of computer-based or online training is desirable.
- Ability to interact professionally and effectively with training focal persons, site managers, and technical staff of national counterpart institutions and law enforcement agencies is desirable.
- Fluency in English (oral and written proficiency and excellent drafting skills) is required.
- Knowledge of other official UN languages is an advantage.
- Fluency in local language (URDU) is desirable.
