The Specialist in Educational and Cultural Projects for International Cooperation will be responsible for designing, negotiating, coordinating, and monitoring educational and cultural cooperation agreements aligned with national development priorities and Mexico's international commitments. The role supports the institutional consolidation of AMEXCID to strengthen South-South Cooperation in Mexico through strategic partnerships and capacity development.

Responsibilities

  • Design and monitor agreements and memorandums of understanding in educational and cultural matters with national and international actors.
  • Prepare strategic and technical analyses for decision-making in the Executive Directorate of AMEXCID regarding educational and cultural alliances.
  • Promote and coordinate institutional linkage with various entities to integrate strategic projects in education and culture.
  • Manage high-level meetings on topics related to education, culture, and international cooperation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Public Policy or related fields is required.
  • Master's degree in the mentioned fields is not required but will be given due consideration.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the education sector, cultural projects, and project management for candidates with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the mentioned fields for candidates with a Master's degree.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of public policies.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of federal public administration educational policies.
  • Experience and/or institutional communication and high-level representation.
  • Experience in the development and coordination of cultural and educational projects is desired.
  • Experience and/or knowledge in fund management and project management is desired.
  • Experience in negotiating inter-institutional agreements with actors from various sectors is desired.
  • Applicant must be a Mexican citizen in full exercise of their rights or a foreigner with a migratory status that allows the function to be performed.
