Adaptación de la guía Embajadoras de Confianza a las versiones 2.0 y 2.1 (dirigidas a niñas y niños y a población masculina)

Consultancy to adapt the guide for the formation of Embajadoras de Confianza to versions 2.0 and 2.1, targeting children and male populations in prioritized municipalities in Guatemala. The objective is to expand community capacities for the prevention of gender-based violence and orientation on available protection services.

Responsibilities

• Adapt the guide for the formation of Embajadoras de Confianza to versions 2.0 and 2.1 for children (from 12 years old) and male populations (from 18 years old) in prioritized municipalities.
• Prepare work schedules including draft submission and review dates with OIM.
• Develop and validate the guide content through sessions with target groups in Santa Apolonia, Chimaltenango.
• Produce final Word documents of the guides incorporating feedback from validation sessions.
• Coordinate with local counterparts to ensure participation in validation sessions.
• Provide reports on validation sessions including summaries, lessons learned, opportunities for improvement and recommendations.
• Respond to any information requests from OIM during and after the consultancy period.

Requirements

• Professional with studies in Social Sciences, Humanities or related fields.
• Extensive experience working in prevention of gender-based violence (indispensable).
• Experience in interinstitutional and multisectoral work (indispensable).
• Experience in popular education methodologies and didactic adaptations of documents (highly valued).
• High capacity for organization, proactivity, conflict resolution and assertive communication.
• Knowledge of a Mayan language (ideally Kaqchikel) is highly valued.
