The consultant will lead the preparation and completion of deliverables related to the dissemination and operationalization of the Environment and Natural Resources Law Enforcement Manual of Operations in the Philippines. The role involves providing technical support, coordinating consultations with stakeholders, and facilitating the smooth completion of deliverables, including domestic travel as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and completion of deliverables in close consultation and under the guidance of DENR.
- Provide technical support in attaining the outputs related to the Environment and Natural Resources Law Enforcement Manual of Operations.
- Coordinate and facilitate consultations with all relevant stakeholders to facilitate the smooth completion of the deliverables.
- Undertake domestic travel where needed to support the project.
Requirements
- An advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in Environmental Law, Administrative Law, International Relations, Public Policy, or Legal Studies, Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, or a closely related field is required.
- A first-level (undergraduate) degree in Law, Public Policy, or Legal Studies, with two additional years of relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced university degree.
- A minimum of two years of progressive experience in communications, journalism, public information, social media management or a closely related field is required.
- Experience in Environmental and Natural Resources Law, Administrative Law, and/or Public Policy is desired.
- Experience in graphic design and proficiency in content development, editing, and visual communication tools is desired.
- Experience working with a government agency or international organization is an asset.
- Fluency in oral and written English is required.
- Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage.
