The Assistant(e) aux opérations informatiques – SCOPE ensures the proper functioning of systems, provides technical and operational support to field teams, and contributes to guaranteeing the integrity, quality, and timely availability of beneficiary data for in-kind and cash-based transfer interventions. The role facilitates deployment and daily use of SCOPE functionalities, enhancing operational efficiency, accountability, and data-driven decision-making in complex emergency contexts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily technical support to SCOPE users at WFP and cooperating partners.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to registration, workflows, device usage, and access rights.
  • Manage user accounts according to assigned roles and internal controls.
  • Support planning and implementation of registration and verification activities.
  • Conduct regular data quality checks; produce error lists and coordinate corrections.
  • Ensure compliance with consent, data protection, and standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • Execute and monitor deduplication processes and prepare case files.
  • Support adjudication meetings, record decisions, and implement approved updates.
  • Support beneficiary list reviews, distribution preparation, and field issue resolution.
  • Resolve difficulties affecting beneficiary access to assistance.
  • Train partners and program teams on SCOPE processes and operational guides.
  • Organize refresher sessions and provide practical field support.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports on registrations, data quality, deduplication, and support tickets.
  • Maintain documentation according to internal control requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum secondary education required.
  • A university degree (Bachelor's) in computer science, information systems, data management, or social sciences is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in IT operations, digital systems support, or related fields.
  • Practical experience using SCOPE or similar beneficiary management systems in humanitarian or large-scale contexts.
  • Experience deploying systems, troubleshooting, supporting users, and working with field teams and cooperating partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage data processes, ensure service continuity, and work in complex, resource-limited environments.
  • Experience with MIS/CRM systems; knowledge of SCOPE or similar humanitarian tools is an asset.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; Power Query / Power BI is an advantage.
  • Fluency in French; knowledge of English is desirable.
  • Local languages are an asset.
