The position supports administrative processes related to the review of project financial reports for the Secretaría Ejecutiva de Educación Media Técnico Profesional (SEEMTP) to ensure proper execution and compliance with activities and commitments. The role includes reviewing financial documentation, supporting financial system administration, monitoring project execution status, managing administrative documentation, and contributing to knowledge sharing relevant to the project.

Responsibilities

  • Review financial reports of various projects of the Secretaría Ejecutiva de Educación Media Técnico Profesional (SEEMTP), acting as administrative counterpart as appropriate.
  • Request, receive, and verify financial report documents of various agreements.
  • Review financial report documentation and validate that expenses are properly supported (receipts, invoices, contracts).
  • Support administration and control of the accounting and financial system of SEEMTP, providing feedback for data entry into the Electronic Account Rendering System (SISREC) and the State Financial Management Information System (SIGFE).
  • Monitor and update the execution and closure status of SEEMTP projects in tracking spreadsheets or systems.
  • Enter and update information regarding transfers, financial reports, agreement modifications, among others.
  • Prepare administrative documentation such as memorandums, official letters, and other correspondence.
  • Manage sending correspondence and documents to project managers for project progress or closure.
  • Support creation and exchange of relevant knowledge for the project.
  • Perform other functions within professional profile as necessary for project, office, and organizational functioning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree OR High School certificate with 3 years of experience.
  • Experience in financial and accounting management within State Administration.
  • Experience in reviewing accounting financial reports.
  • Experience in collecting information and maintaining records, spreadsheets, and documents related to monitoring and follow-up.
  • Experience using remote work tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, cloud storage, and collaborative work tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools: Word, intermediate Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Outlook email and its functionalities.
  • Fluency in Spanish is required.
  • Professional university degree (Bachelor's) in Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, Auditing or equivalent is desirable.
  • Experience beyond minimum requirements is desirable.
  • Experience with the Electronic Account Rendering System (SISREC) or similar is desirable.
  • Experience managing payment requests and financial report reviews is desirable.
  • Experience in public services, municipalities, and/or State Administration bodies is desirable.
  • Experience with financial management procedures of the Chilean State Administration is desirable.
  • Applicants must provide certificates or similar documents to prove their work experience and tool proficiency.
