Supply & Logistics Officer

The Supply and Logistics Officer supports UNICEF's country office supply chain by managing supply planning, procurement, contracting, customs clearance, warehousing, transportation, distribution, and monitoring of supplies and services. The role involves collaboration with programme teams, government counterparts, and partners to develop effective supply solutions and ensure resources reach communities in need.

Responsibilities

• Supervise supply team activities and processes.
• Ensure supply chain service delivery and emergency response.
• Collaborate with programme and implementing partners.
• Support innovation, products and markets development.

Requirements

• Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Business Administration, Economics, Supply/Purchasing, Logistics, Law, International Development, Health Administration, Social Science, Management, Procurement, Commercial law, Public health, International development or related fields.
• At least 1 years of relevant work experience in Supply Management, Supply Management/Contracting/Logistics, Procurement, Contracting, Warehouse management, Inventory management, Transportation management, Emergency logistics or related fields.
• Skills in Supply chain management, Public procurement, Financial management, Resource monitoring, Contract negotiation, Analytical skills.
• English - Proficient/Fluent.
• Desirable: Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language.
• Desirable: UN experience, Construction procurement, Contract management, Engineering services, Local language, Dual function experience.
• Desirable: Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
