The Vulnerable Too Program Manager leads the implementation of the Vulnerable Too initiative, a staff-centered effort to strengthen peer support, connection, and well-being across the MSF movement. The role involves coordinating partners, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and in line with MSF’s safeguarding and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the program by coordinating and monitoring the implementation of the initiative in collaboration with the external implementation partner, ensuring alignment with agreed plans, timelines, deliverables, and budget
  • Ensure stakeholder engagement and coordination across MSF entities to ensure alignment, collaboration, and effective participation
  • Secure that MSF standards are integrated throughout the initiative, including quality control, safeguarding, ethical considerations and data protection
  • Ensure informed decision-making and effective governance through monitoring, risk management, reporting and contributing to learning and evaluation processes, including feedback and continuous improvement
  • Act as an internal ambassador for the Vulnerable Too Initiative, strengthening engagement and participation across the MSF movement by fostering storytelling, reflection, peer connection, community-based support, and emotionally supportive practices that foster inclusion and emotional solidarity

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong experience managing or coordinating projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in humanitarian, public sector, or non-profit environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Ability to work independently across teams, functions, and geographies
  • Fluent written and spoken English (C1 level or equivalent)
  • Experience in MSF or similar humanitarian operational contexts (strong advantage)
  • Background in one or more of the following: Staff well-being / MHPSS, Coaching and mentoring, Organizational development or culture change, Community engagement or safeguarding (strong advantage)
  • Experience with online communities or peer-support initiatives (strong advantage)
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches and psychological safety (strong advantage)
  • Proficiency in French, Spanish, or Arabic (strong advantage)
