Provide reliable and safe driving services ensuring compliance with local traffic rules and UNICEF protocols. Support administrative tasks and engage in self-directed learning during non-driving periods, applying a client-oriented approach with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and reliable driving services.
  • Ensure routine vehicle care, maintenance and readiness.
  • Use digital tools and tracking systems for trip documentation and reporting.
  • Communicate effectively and maintain emergency readiness.
  • Support office operations during idle periods.

Requirements

  • A secondary education is required, along with a valid driver`s license and knowledge of local driving rules and regulations.
  • Minimum two years of work experience as a driver in an international organization, embassy or UN system with a safe driving record is required.
  • Must possess safe driving and vehicle maintenance skills.
  • Experience in emergency response, protocol compliance and digital tools is required.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
  • Defensive driving and first aid certification represent a strong asset.
  • Experience in customs procedures and airport protocol is desirable.
  • Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
