See your match score & applyThe Senior Grants and Partnership Coordinator (SGPC) at IRC Thailand is responsible for overseeing and managing the Country Programs Grants and Partnerships. The role involves strategic guidance on program development, grants management, compliance, donor relations, and supporting proposal development and project cycle management.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate proposal development processes in collaboration with Deputy Director Programs, sector leads, and finance team ensuring timely submission in line with IRC and donor requirements
- Monitor donor trends and funding opportunities through research and information monitoring
- Update business development plans for IRC Thailand with senior management
- Track proposals with standard IRC tracking tools
- Provide technical guidance on IRC and donor regulations to ensure compliance in operations, program implementation and reporting
- Disseminate funding and donor reporting schedules and ensure timely submission of high-quality reports
- Inform senior management of any projected issues with contractual obligations, report submissions, and budget variances
- Coordinate project cycle meetings and follow up with departments to ensure proper grant management
- Manage agreement reviews, revisions, amendments and budget realignments including approvals
- Support partnership team in sub-granting/partnership processes and oversight
- Supervise Grants team and Partnerships Coordinator ensuring quality outputs and workflow planning
- Oversee partnerships staff to track and monitor partner projects and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Lead initiatives to enhance local partnerships and develop local partner capacity
- Review key project reports and provide guidance and capacity strengthening
- Ensure delivery of strategic action plan commitments related to grants team
- Liaise closely with Partnership Coordinator in management of sub-grants
Requirements
- Relevant degree (Bachelors) in development studies, social sciences, or other relevant fields
- Experience with US government grants, DFAT, ECHO, EU, FCDO, UNHCR, and private funding sources
- At least five years of similar work experience, preferably with peer NGOs, representing a role at the crux between country level implementation and HQ/donors with regard to Grants management and proposal development
- Experience in proposal development, preparation of logical frameworks, budgets and grant management
- At least two years’ experience in sector of international humanitarian/emergency or developmental contexts with multiple sectors
- Excellent diplomacy skills, patience and clear communication skills
- Experience with hands on field level/direct program management is a plus
- Ability to independently organize work and prioritize tasks and work under pressure managing multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently
- Team leadership and supervisory experience with focus on staff development
- Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment among program, technical and administrative team members
- Enthusiasm and willingness to advance the IRC’s mission in Thailand and promote viable futures for displaced and conflict-affected populations
- Ability to travel on short notice
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
