See your match score & applyThe WBG Pioneer Internship Program offers undergraduate and postgraduate students a high impact learning experience at the heart of global development. The Trade Finance Intern will join the task force for the Global Trade Finance Program and contribute to the design, monitoring, and documentation of trade and supply chain finance operations.
Responsibilities
- Join the task force for the Global Trade Finance Program (GTFP) and other trade and supply chain finance programs and contribute to design the operations which will be documented in the Operational Manual
- Contribute to monitoring and supervision of all trade and supply chain finance programs and prepare the monitoring reports as needed
- Prepare the product guides and the handbooks for new products for external audience and for internal training
Requirements
- Candidates must be currently enrolled in, or in the final year of, master’s program
- Candidates must have 0–6 years of relevant professional experience
- Academic background must align with the requirements outlined in the job description
- Demonstrated interest in development work and the World Bank Group’s mission
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in diverse, team-based environments
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines
- Proficiency in English; additional languages may be required depending on the role
