The European Investment Fund (EIF) is seeking a Recruiter to reinforce its People Office team in Luxembourg. The role involves leading recruitment activities, building diverse candidate pipelines, and contributing to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes to attract and hire high-quality talent in a competitive international environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment activities for assigned business areas, acting as a trusted partner to hiring managers.
  • Translate business needs into effective sourcing and hiring strategies.
  • Build diverse candidate pipelines and implement inclusive and unbiased recruitment practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes, tools and reporting.
  • Prepare and publish job advertisements and ensure targeted outreach to relevant talent pools.
  • Screen applications, shortlist candidates and conduct interviews.
  • Proactively source candidates through online channels such as professional networks and social platforms.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates and past applicants.
  • Act as main point of contact for selected candidates ensuring a smooth recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives including participation in job fairs and recruitment events.
  • Ensure proper documentation and adherence to EIF HR policies.
  • Participate in HR projects, initiatives, system developments, working groups and tenders as required.

Requirements

  • University degree (preferably at post-graduate level) in HR, Business Administration, Law or other similar fields.
  • At least three (3) years relevant recruitment experience within the banking and finance sector or prior experience as Talent Acquisition Specialist.
  • Prior recruitment experience in international organizations (i.e. IFIs) is a considerable advantage.
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks.
  • Proficiency of PeopleSoft HR, Oracle and Business Objects is a significant advantage or knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs).
  • Knowledge of the terms of employment and HR procedures within European Institutions is a plus.
  • Highly conversant in MS Office tools.
  • Excellent command of English; knowledge of French and/or other EU languages is an advantage.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal clients, providing regular updates on the status of their requests.
  • Ability to identify, attract and recruit the right people for the organisation using sourcing strategies, candidate search methodologies, selection tools, assessment methodologies and technology.
  • Ability to conduct interviews to gather information for recruitment and business needs.
  • Ability to proactively identify organizational challenges and develop effective, sustainable solutions.
  • Ability to keep sensitive information private following confidentiality guidelines.
