Driver

Provide transportation to the RO staff and Bank visitors within Country and, as necessary, neighbouring countries. Acts as first point of contact for visiting guests and senior management, ensuring safe and efficient journeys.

Responsibilities

• Drive EBRD staff and visitors professionally ensuring a safe, punctual and efficient journey is achieved.
• Adhere to all relevant local driving rules whilst executing duties to EBRD standards.
• Provide transport to the Head of Office/Director and Bankers.
• Provide transport and assistance to Bank visitors.
• Maintain the RO car(s) in good and safe working conditions.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of RO garage and driver's area where applicable.
• Deliver documents and packages for the EBRD.
• Observe Road Safety Code.
• Assist with maintenance of RO as required where applicable.
• Support Office in clerical tasks related to the RO, e.g. purchasing supplies, administration etc., if assigned.
• Act as First Aider and focal point in case of emergency if required.
• Maintain satellite phone according to H&S requirements.
• Complete weekly travel log sheet.

Requirements

• Secondary school education.
• Valid driving license.
• Safe driving record.
• Strict compliance with safety procedures.
• Excellent driving skills and technical knowledge of cars.
• Defensive Driver Training preferred (training will be provided).
• Advanced Driver Training/Certificate.
• Working knowledge of English is an advantage.
• Experience of working in an international environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
