Fundraising & Partnerships Officer

You will play a key role in building meaningful relationships with CERN’s current and prospective donors throughout the entire donor cycle, managing proposal preparation and reporting. You will help generate financial and strategic support for CERN by identifying funding opportunities, securing donations and grants, and building partnerships with corporations and foundations.

Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of fundraising strategies for CERN fundraising projects.
• Identification, qualification, cultivation, and stewardship of donors, including planning and conducting of donor meetings, events, and experiences.
• Research and pursue of funding opportunities with foundations, including writing proposals and reports.
• Track, analyse, and report on fundraising performance and partnership impact.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align fundraising with project goals, prepare donor agreements and reports.
• Conceptualise and produce communications materials for fundraising purposes.
• Support Due Diligence process.

Requirements

• Experience in fundraising, grants management, donor reporting and stewardship within a non-profit charitable context.
• Proven ability to meet financial targets and manage multiple projects.
• Experience contributing to initiatives aligned with organisational mission and values, delivering measurable impact.
• Experience in fundraising for Science and Education or a related field is an asset.
• Experience in using software for Graphic Design is an asset.
• Experience in an international context is also an asset.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience in the field of Fundraising, International relations or a related field.
