See your match score & applyThe African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat offers an internship program to provide students with practical experience and international exposure. Interns will assist in translation and interpretation of working documents and meetings, gaining exposure to the work of the AfCFTA Secretariat in a multicultural environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in translation of working documents from English/French on a wide range of subject matters in a timely manner and in the respective AU working language.
- Assist in interpretation during meetings, audiences, and discussions.
Requirements
- Be nationals of a Member State of the African Union and residing in Ghana.
- Final year students enrolled full-time in a fully accredited degree program in Interpretation and/or Translation.
- Full availability for a minimum of three months, the duration of the program.
- Proficiency in one of the AU official working languages (French, English, Portuguese, Arabic, Kiswahili, Spanish) and fluency in another AU language is an added advantage.
- Applicants should possess a high level of quantitative and IT skills.
- Must possess very good ICT skills and be familiar with Microsoft Office suite.
- Applicants should be capable and willing to work in a multicultural and international team environment.
- Applicants should be committed to upholding and adhering to the rules and values of the Institution for the duration of the program.
